Okay so I can not begin to describe how my dreams have come true in this mod.  Its way worth the 1700mb to download it, and if you need to reinstall bf2 do that as well.  Its a crazy new system that makes bf more like...a battlefield, not some arcade shooter.   If you ever thought about how bf2 would be like a little more real, stop dreaming and play it.

The biggest difference in this mod is the CRAZY amount of teamwork every player has that plays it.  Everyone is willing to work with the squad to get stuff done (and its required) and about 90% of the people use the voip (and not just to curse like w33dy)
I really have no desire to go and play bf2 after playing this mod, I think i'll stick to this.

Yep I've played that a bit when they released version .5. Kinda waiting till they release .6 of the mod and fix some of the bugs. I'm up for playing it again. Would be nice if we can get a couple squads going in that game.

yeah I've had a lot of fun on the Tactical Gamer server and Texas Team Players.
Its all about the huge 64 player servers, all the small ones are pretty dull.  

Max, I dunno about fast but I got 150 (3hr download) from filefront, theres plenty of mirrors to choose from on the PR site. http://www.realitymod.com/

and space what kind of bugs did you run into?  I haven't found anything crazy buggy yet...except for maybe getting on those damn dirt bikes....cant figure out how...and a single really imbalanced map

pshh I just got the toca iso from w33dy yesterday so i'll install it and give it a go.  Still PR is damn fun. (dont try to hijack my thread you dirty bastard)

max let me know when your gonna give it a shot, its more fun to play with people that know what they are doing.  Or just join the big 50 player Tactical Gamer server and use VOIP.

yeah i'll be leading the squad since I *barely* know what im doing.  At least I understand what works and what doesn't.  Keep in mind that some of the maps are just lame and need serious work.  

Another thing that would help would be swapping jump and crouch key so crouch is space bar, you use it a whole lot.  I also made the in game voip a button on my mouse since I use that a lot too.  I'll explain things a bit when we all get into the game.  When I lead a squad I take 10 minutes at the start of the game to go over things with the squad so we work effectively.

By the way kav, what map did you play?

the 0.604 beta was just released for this mod, there should be a handful of very positive changes for the mod.  Less noob-tubes and rockets, more firefights and tactics
