Yeah, saw this during Q3 and when they saw it was a flying piece of debris I thought he was a goner. The Ferrari press release seems to give the impression of no long lasting damage, but I wonder if Massa is coming back after this?

Pic of the Massa just after the accident.  Not terribly graphic, you just see his left eye closed, the cut and some blood above the left eye, and the a bunch of damage to his helmet.

Haha, can't believe they got Schumi to come out of retirement. Ferrari already trying to sweet talk the other teams for 'special' permission to let him run an F60. Doesn't look good though, Williams already shutting the door on that, lol.

Any thoughts on how Schumi will perform at Valencia?


Referring to the Massa incident.... man, I saw the first part of the telecast when they just show Massa's car in the tire barrier, but you could hear the throttle still being pressed. I feared the worst.....  very lucky for him to be alive, and I'm sure he will return to F1 shortly.
