Perhaps we hold off on the next GP season until that's out.  That is going to have the that new open wheel series (Formula Masters).

That plus the new tracks make it pretty enticing to wait IMHO.  Perhaps we do the F1 MMG mod for GTRE GP season 3 after its release?

Is that using the same engine (i.e an add-on pack for race07 like gtr-evo) or a separate game with the gmotor2 engine, which rfactor uses?

In terms of track conversions etc, if there are specific places you wanted to use it might take a few months before the process is refined rather than upon immediate release.

it uses the same engine as Race07. As far as waiting until it comes out to start he new season, that's assuming everyone in the league is willing to shell out the $29.99 to buy it. The F1 2009 mod is free as is the MMG F1 mod. Plus F3000 the same as International Formula Masters, or Formula Masters took over f300? Isn't that what we read, buz?

Looking at the track there is only 7 new tracks, all the other are currently available

Correct me if I am wrong aren't the 2 car engines pretty much the same? F3000 = Formula Masters

With my current situation I can not afford $30 for a game any time soon.

I believe it will be $20 for the expansion.

$30 would be for the full game if you didn't have the Race07 base game already. This is how it was for GTRe and STCC.

That's quite interesting.

I think I'll stick with GTR-EVO and my copy of rfactor for now. I am looking forward to rfactor 2 tho. It's pretty cool that some F1 teams use the commercial version of rfactor to test certain things with. BMW Sauber specifically come to mind, tho now i suppose they won't be using it anymore...

There are always complainers out there, particularly in a smaller community (race sims).  Move along, nothing to see here in that post.  If the guy was smart enough to spell arbitrary correctly, than perhaps I'd be inclined to pay attention.  

I think pretty much everyone of his issues has a fairly decent counterpoint.
