http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/rumors/post/U-S-Formula-One-wants-Kyle-Busch?urn=nascar,197528

The United States Formula 1 team doesn't have its first race till next April in Bahrain but the team would apparently really love to have NASCAR driver Kyle Busch behind the wheel, according to USA Today.

The 24-year-old Busch recently excited the folks in Formula 1 by saying that he wouldn't immediately say no to Formula One. His idea is that he'd win a championship in NASCAR in the next few years and then take a few years in Formula One. And there's no reason to think he won't. After all, the guy has won 58 races in NASCAR: 16 wins in the Sprint Cup, 28 in Nationwide, 14 in Camping World Trucks.

Still, the guy's contract with Joe Gibbs Racing doesn't run out till the end of next season and there's really no reason to think he's going to skip out to F1 just yet. But the U.S. team will certainly do everything it can to convince Busch.

He's pretty darned tall for F1 ... though they were looking at Alex Wurz for a while too so I guess maybe it could work, particularly if he brouhg t butt-load of sponsors with him.

I would hope Alex Rossi or Jon Summerton would get a look-in though.

He'll be racking up fines for doing donuts if he starts winning, lol.

Well I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have to worry about that...

I personally like Kyle Busch...... Whining aside, he has amazing talent. Enough talent I should think that if he dedicated himself to be competitive running courses rather than ovals. Given if he has equipment up to snuff.  My opinion, next year if he wins the championship, he'll jump ship. If he has a dismal year, he'll jump....   But if he runs good, and still loses?  I doubt he'll want to.  Best believe he'll be putting some F1 races on his DVR or whatever next year to see just what he 'might' run in '11
