imo it's a lame/bad thing ... basically Max v2.0 ... this guy was the Ferrari F1 team boss for years, Ferrari have been getting special treatment under Max so I can barely imagine what will happen now that their guy is actually the FIA Prez.

Basically a corrupt fucker.

I really wanted Ari Vatanen (former Rally champ) to get the job. I would have trusted him to be genuinely impartial/ethical, being from outside of F1.

If you were following up on some of the news updates from the elections, they basically gave Ari the ole' one-two to discredit him. Then when he took the bait and complained about Todt getting unfair support from Max and Bernie they jumped on it with situations earlier in the year when Ari was also asking Bernie and Max for their support... made him out to be a little of a hypocrite. Either way, someone asked if this was a good or bad thing? Just ask yourself, "Have I supported what the FIA has done in the last 16 years?"......  Cause it's just more of the same.
