ALL ... fyi ... the Oval1M contained in the GP6 TrackPack is modified form the regular public version.

In order to allow pubs to join in with Hot Lapping, we will be running the regular public version of the track, not the TrackPack version. The TV Cams are a bit sucky and the fuel use figures are well out, but the public version can be obtained either from NoGripRacing or from TeamRIP ... HERE ... and overwrite the existing files if you already have it from the TrackPack.


Do still hang onto the TrackPack (keep a copy on your desktop for instance) - we'll be needing to use that version for the race so that the AI don't all run out of fuel Grin

if I remember correctly if you were to take a track modify it and just rename the track folder it will stand alone to the original. Maybe you could try this in the next track pack

For example

Motec Mile
rip|Motec Mile

that way racers can have both tracks loaded on their machines

BTW - Test AI up to 98% ... in quali the top 2 or 3 were breaking into the 25's, most of the rest were 26's.

Also set the # of laps to 85 Grin


regarding pitting ... as with Indy last season, let's use the back straight for Entering/exiting and keep things safe.

Guys, I'll be missing the race tonight, but this should be the last I miss. I've had some significant issues to deal with in real life, but things seem to be working out one way or another. I'll be a bigger presence in the coming weeks, and I appreciate the patience with my in and out in the last weeks.
