Seeing as how I am 33 now I no longer want to




I would like to do the opposite.

I am using on-board sound card and these speakers which put out way too much bass even with the bass turned down on the sub.

anyway around this with some software, EQ, or something like that?

There should be drivers and a software package for your sound card, the software package should have a EQ and surround features.
The software package will only work if you have a supported OS.

Sometimes the sound chip manufacturer (eg, Realtek, Intel..) has more feature rich software than the drivers from Dell...
