I was trying again to develop a bump stop setup last night and had a major break thru. Car got better almost everywhere and tire temps were much better, but I couldn't get into turn 3, stupid crazy loose. But it makes sense, remember when you deal with body roll, whatever you do to the left front has the opposite effect on the right rear. So putting more weight on the LF took weight off the RR. For sure I got the body to ride on the bumpstop and it was awsome, you get the same body roll every corner even if you drive in too deep, because the RF suspension collapses onto to the frame underload, So you can adjust the load by changing the packer height.
I'm going to work on it alittle more maybe try it with stability control on.

um, I think he's making the Left Front suspension solid, so the spring isn't doing any shock absorbance.

I can only guess this is to help the right side be softer by comparison, to help with grip and temps?

setup for ovals messes with my mind pretty good, there's so much conflicting info around. Doesn't help that this track has one end flat and one end banked either lol.
Huh?

Right front is near solid, left front is soft, this forces weight to the left front as the suspension collapses.

ok, i see i had it bass-ackwards, oops ... but wouldn't hardening the suspension on the right increase temps and give trouble over the long haul?

In any case, did you just max the packers and then back off until turn 3 was manageable?

Nice - thx again Ez!

I'm hoping to get some time to try some experiments like that also, we'll see how the schedule pans out.

No thats backward too, hard suspension limits body roll, so with a bump stop setup as the LF suspension compresses weight will roll to that corner.

If the bumps upset the RF then your too hard.

Here's what I'm working off of so far.  If you ride height matches the packers then your on the frame. If your packers are less then your ride height, then the difference between the two is your travel.
