Poor Marcos, man I feel bad for the guy. I can only imagine how he must have felt, because I know it ruined my day.

If you missed Sunday's I would suggest looking at the highlights and good lord the lowlights....

You can see the highlight on NASCAR.com. I can't link to the video because all streaming is blocked at work.

Here is a good read about what happened at the end

Yeah saw it, was horrifying. I can't imagine the relationship between driver and crew chief will ever be quite the same again.

idk, shit happens, make damned sure you learn something from it.

i was sick to my stomach and really pissed after it happened. I hope he he can rebound from this.

This quote from the article I linked to is how I feel about it

Quote
Should the leader ever lose the lead in the middle of the track under caution, under any circumstance?

Doesn't seem right.

NASCAR made a big deal earlier this year about giving us three chances at a green-white-checkered finish under the pretense of having races decided under racing conditions. If that logic holds true, then wouldn't it stand to figure that a race should not be decided under caution in this case?

The point about NASCAR being hypocritical in their attitude is well made IMO.

If they're all about the racing, like green-white-checkered finishes suggest, they should have let him back to the front.

If they're hard ass sticklers who want the race decided under yellow, non-racing conditions, then they should also make the race distance be the actual DISTANCE RACED.

This in between stuff is just stupid and infuriating. Having their cake and eating it too.
