Just like we play special forces huh.  I will keep my money in my wallet or spend it somewhere else, like sticking it between a stripper's legs.  8O

Fuck EA!

There are so many people complaining about the EA downloader still being messed up.  You have to download it or register with the same account you play with or some messed up shit like that.

Did I say Fuck EA yet?

Oh by the way FUCK YOU EA!

If you still don't get it I can tell you how I really feel!

No you're right.  I love a company that puts out patches after "extensive testing" then recalls them after a week because there is so many problems with it.

Or when they release full and incremental patches the the incremental patches are corrupt or cause errors.

Here, you go guys buy Secret Weapons, oh wait now you have to switch your CD, oh you want to play BF1942, now switch it again.  Oh you just clicked on a server that is SW, now switch it back again.

They pump up their games to have a whole bunch of features and when they release them, those features are no where to be found because they can't get them to work and instead of fixing them, they trash it to rush the game out the door so they get paid.

true that....

there are so many features in bf2 they removed... like that blackhawk with missiles... or the ground laser guided thingy where a guy was pointing on a target and a jet dropped boms on the target.... but nooo...

If you know anything about the history of BF1942, Desert Combat, and Trauma Studios, then you know about this:

Another example of EA screwing people over.

yeh Trauma was what made 1942 as huge as it was I knew a few people who bought it just to play Desert Combat.

Yeh EA has a history of bad support and patches when it comes to battlefield

take 42 for example, like several patches in when they claimed to fix the jump and people that would die from simply walking down stairs

ahh this resulted in people being able to do the "superman" hack where you could littlerly fly infantly all over the map.

Haha and vietnam which supposably when through extensive pre release testing to ensure quality and no bugs so they would make up for the 42 fiascos

this resulted in the 60/LAW weapon which litterly turned you into a robocop like killing machine since the gun was like a lazer beam with more accuracy than the sniper rifle and the law could easily take out tanks.

oh yes and in vietnam where you could literly drive the tank and gatling anti air gun inside the walls of buildings that would allow you endlessly shoot out of them without being hit.... and the glitch where you could see throught the whole tunnel system and shoot people from halfway across the map.

Also BF2 was hyped up on having the one of the classes (probly spec ops) being able to use lazer guided system that planes or something could lock on to for great hit bombing.  Never happened.

Oh and wheres the BF TV??  The link is still disfunctional on the Battlefield2.com

I love the games just not a huge fan of EA.

I love EA bashing...they destroyed my favorite MMO, Earth and Beyond. So I was extremely hesitant to get 1942 when it came out. In fact it took months for me to break down because I wanted to play it so bad.

One thing that I must say however is that there is a difference that most people don't get. EA is a publisher, not a developer. Meaning they are all about the money. They give milestones to developers that must be met, otherwise, they'll pull the plug.

My #1 hated publisher is SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) quickly followed up by EA.
