You guys don't know what your missing. We've been laughing our asses off since we've arrived in Boston.

Tonight was our team meeting. If we're lucky we get to see each other once a year. Ripper, Beaker, and Zuler are second year veterans. This year we're glad to add AnimalMother, Dante, and Vitalix to our LAN Party trip.

After dinner with Ripper, Beaker, AnimalMother, Dante, and his wife we returned to the hotel to hang out with the girls from the local junior prom. Zuler met us in the hotel bar where we discovered that the hotel is hosting a cross-dresser convention.

So, there is fun for all on the LAN party trip. We'll be posting some pics and tales of our further adventures in the near future. Tomorrow is the Lan Party. Keep an eye out for new posts.

Yesterday was chaotic at the lan party. It all started with about 3 hours of beaker, ripper, animal, and zuler trying to fix problems with their computers. Fortunatly we were all able to get our computers up and running. By 12 oclock pm Vitalex and Dante had arrived and we spent a good 7 hours doing nothing but gaming.

Overall the Nor Easter was a siappointment and w ewon't be giong back, we will be looking for a more professionaly run lan. The only thing that made it great was hanging out with all the rip clan members who were there. We had an awful good time playing BF2.

Here's a top ten list of what went on at the lan party!! list of some of the good and not so good memories from Saturday:

1. beaker killing animalmother constantly.

2. Is that Dante's pc case or a refigerator case?

3. Ripper getting sick - too many blue balls and rip its(energy drink)!!

4. Animalmother's and Dante's farts !!! (no explaination needed)

5. MMMMMMMMM!! chopped suey from the shriners!! lmao

6. Creamed corn from the shriners? (animal ate it ask him, lmao)

7. animalmother getting nacho cheese spread all over his body by the fat kid (inside joke, animal can explain lol)

8. the lone cute girl at the lan party, animalmother wanted to smell her seat!!

9. rip clan going to the quarter finals Yahoo!!!!!! Team rip represented again!!

10. beaker's computer crashing to the ground while 360 gamers did nothing to help. They had about 30 admins and 1 admin watched it crash will he shpouted" someone help him, help him, help him!!  ---classic!!) He's going down, somebody help him, somebody help him, won't somebody help him. lmao!!

11. The smell of 360+ ripe gamers (enough said)!!!

12) animal coming to the door in a towel only!!!!!  lmao!!!!!!!!

13) yes beaker found lotion again ....this time right near animal's bed...lmao  enough said!!!!!!!!

please add more to the list (Zuler, Animalmother, Ripper, Dante, and Vitalix)

The BF2 tournament

The tournament started about 3 hours after it was scheduled. We were very upset with the organizers of the LAN. They were way behind schedule and provided a very disorganized LAN party.

Never the less, Ripclan went on to the quarter finals. The last fight was kubra damn. Ripclan put up an awsome fight  one the first side from mec , but lost from the us side by total tickets!!! we won the first round with 63 ticks left.

The last rip members left the LAN at about 1:30 am all worn out from a day of fun, frustration, and farts.

On Sunday morning the fun continued. Zuler, Ripper, and beaker went to wake up Animalmother were greeted by a naked animalmother, who only had on a towel that just covered his butt cheeks and manhood. then for some odd reason Animalmother did a little dance in the hallway for all to see and then we went to breakfast.(there were seniors passing in the hallway at the time...lmao!! (Yes, we waited for animal to get dressed!!)

Breakfast was great. We hit a local restaurant and pigged out while luaghing about all the craziness from the weekend.

We will be looking for a new LAN party to attend next year, so keep your eyes peeled. Now that yall know how much fun the LAN Parties are, we hope more of you will decide to come next year!! our goal for next year is 15 people!!! Let's go start planning early!!!

Check out the pictures from the party.

I enjoyed meeting everyone at the Nor'Easter.  Man, that Chop Suey was firggin $3.50 for a tiny ass bowl!

We all played well together and except for a string of bad luck could have beat that team in the tournament.  Now I can put faces to many of the people I play with online each week. I hope to meet y'all more in the future.

Don't give up on the Nor'Easter! Apparently this year was an exception compared to in the past.  People are talking about it at http://forums.lpane.net/

Oh.... I forgot to tell y'all about this moment of panic:

So I get to the Nor'Easter on Saturday hungry as hell. Why? Because I've just expended a zillion calories on stress energy wondering if I am in the right town let alone the right date. And why is that? Because the friggin street where the shriners is does not follow numerical order.

So I drive down Washington Street, or whatever its called, and look at the addresses of the nameless industrial parks ... 50, 70, 80, 90, 110, 200 ... hey, wait a minute, where's 99 Washington? So I drive up and down the block again ... 50, 70, 80, 90, 110, 200 ... geez man, I think, this place can't be that small.

By now I'm looking like this -->  . So I start knocking on doors, literally. I drop in from park to park looking for directions and the doors are all locked. Finally some really bored looking dude (kinda looked like a LAN party attendee but I wasn't gonna tell him that) buzzed me into yet another nameless lobby and I ask him where the Shriners building is located. He kind a looks at me funny and says its right up the road.

Aha! So if I just kept driving an extra 500 feet I would have found it. Little did I know that 99 comes after 200 on the street numbers.

Wait, it gets better. So I see this big building and being all frazzled I ignore the arrow signs and head to the back of the building in a counterclockwise fashion. I pass by a car and there's this dude sitting in the passengers seat munching on a sandwich. Nothing wierd about that right? But the due is wearing a full blown rat suit! This guy is covered head to toe in a black and white furry costume. He's got whiskers on his face and a stupid ear hat on his head. And he's munching on a sandwich. He looks at me and he's none too happy.

WTF? Did I just step into a Stephen King novel? What is this a friggin mouseclown convention? Ok, don't panic, you've only driven 2+ hours to get here and have a hotel reservation. Just drive around and you'll be fine.

So I do. I see the parking lot full of cars. But there's no one there. Is there really a convention for fat guys in rat costumes? I am ready to really freak when I see a bespectacled looking fourteen year old slouch out of a door way with ... whats that? ... a COMPUTER TOWER in his hands! Hallelujah! This is the place! The world has recentered on it's axis!

I grab my stuff go inside and to my delight the place is a total nerd fest. If the building blew up (with all of us in it) the world would have lost lots of brains but gained a whole lot of cool. I am completely at home with an awesomely friendly group of people. I set up my rig and I'm famished so I buy the Chop Suey.

The moral of this story? Don't buy mediocre Chop Suey from the Shriners in a styrofoam bowl for $3.50.

So was it that bad? The Thunderhawks were going to go... but Noreaster waited till the last minute to give out details & never said the prizes... Which I heard later were a plaque & a tiny bit of cash.

Well maybe if GXL actually does another big LAN we will go.
