looks like the max clip wont work on anything except side arms, thats f**ked up

The Sidearm Ammo Upgrade equips the older with a larger capacity pistol clip, adding 2 rounds to the EU's sidearm, the P33 Pereira, and 3 rounds to the PAC's primary sidearm, the Takao T20. The Engineer will receive an additional clip for his SMG.

DONOT GET THE EXTRA CLIP

its a complete waste, 2-3 extra bullets in a pistol - common that and the one after that is one measly grenade.. so not worth it....

I would do the squad commander stuff or go to a different class all together

I agree that the ammo only works for the sidearm but I know you run recon so you and I both know that close combat sidearm ammo is key! I would recommend the ammo.

The squad beacon only works with more than 3 people in your squad.  I would get the next level of your alternate class.  IE, I have maxed out Engie but I use Support for Titan defence, I'm working Support now.

Thats incorrect. The becon works with only one other person in your squad.
 2 pple needed for spotting drone
 3 pple needed for shooting drone
 1 needed for becon.

              Trust me, i have over 50 hours as squad leader in 2142
