I'm new and trying out for your BF2142 roster so I thought I'd make a quick post to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. I've already played with many of you, but for those I haven't yet met, my name in game is Doc Unitas.

I live on the east coast near atlanta. I've only been playing bf2142 for about 2 weeks (hence my sad scores, at least I'm starting to get close to 1:1 k:d now). I was an avid BF2 player when that game first came out 2years ago and became quite good, particularly with the attack helocoptors. I've actually been playing games like battlefield for about 10 years, ever since the online FPS genre took off. Some of you may remember the glory days of quake online and some of the great CTF mods available for it. I was also really into Unreal Tournament and UT2004, though I never took much liking to Quake 3. I suppose this does date me somewhat, I'm actually 31 with a wife/kids/career, the whole deal. Your practice times of M/W/F 8-11 are perfect for my play schedule. Though I know I'm not nearly to the skill level of most of you yet, from what I've seen you're a good bunch of guys to play with. I like coordinated team tactics, it's why I play BF2142, and it's been nice to see team discipline and tactics being used during my few games with you.

Currently I'm a lowly corporal gold rank. I prefer to play medic and keep my squad rolling, so I have the assault tree unlocked to the voss and rockets. I also enjoy engineer somewhat (my RL profession) so I've unlocked that tree up to the motion mines and am now working toward the pilum.

Anyway, if you've read this far you must be bored at work like me. So hello and I look forward to many matches with Team Rip.

not much man. the practice is starting to pay off... I'm starting to feel slightly less like a meat shield for my squad, at least while playing infantry heavy maps. I actually killed M Officer the other night! ('course he was looking the other way)
