what do you plan on using this PC for? I hope not for gaming. Thats a $34 graphics card it comes with and a 300 watt power supply

well tested new rig
old pc fps = 80-40
new pc = 20 if i'm lucky
so planing on switching video cards and drives we will see.

sorry to hear that, so you are putting the old card in the new pc? Good luck and may the force be with you. I think you might fry the psu in your new machine, thats why it might of went out in your old pc because your video card needs 350w minimum. You might have two dead psu's on your hands soon. Please rethink your plan. Buy a better PSU for your new machine before putting in that card. I means going to boot up but not for long.

Some one back me up here and help this man out before he fries his new pc.

He is about to drop a 8600 gt on a quad core AMD running at 95w, with 8 gigs of ram, 1 tb hard drive all running off of a 300watt power supply. Minimum for the 8600 is 350watts.

I give the psu a week.

BTW what the hell is sepcs? Is that the inner Klingon in you coming out?
